Disneyland Resort (Disney Lies)

Disneyland and the adjoining DIsney properties officially became the Disneyland Resort at some point after Disney sneakily acquired ownership of the Disneyland Hotel from its rightful owners through a leveraged buyout. Today, the resort encompasses Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, Downtown Disney, three resort hotels, a parking structure large enough to house the Olympics, and various secret behind-the-scenes locations.

Because Disneyland was the whole of the resort for a long time, much of the park's history is detailed in the Disneyland section.
