50th Anniversary Icons

As part of Disneyland's 50th anniversary celebration, "50 years" icons were placed throughout the park for inquisitive guests to find. These icons were gold "Mickey Mouse" shapes with a "50" in the center of the large circle. Here's a complete list of their locations.

At the center of the Disneyland Railroad roundhouse

Main Street Cinema, in the 475th frame of "Steamboat Willie"

On the side of the triceratops in the Primeval World Diorama

On the right front horseshoe of the horse-drawn streetcar horse

Beneath seat #17 on the Omnibus

In Steve Martin's pocket in the 50 Magical Years exhibit

In the Emporium upstairs diorama depicting the seamstress, on the head of one of the pins

In a bag of taffy in the Candy Palace

At the back of a shelf of delicate miniature teapots in the China Closet

Replacing the gold witch-summoning apple outside Snow White's Scary Adventures. Update: Because naughty guests kept stealing this apple, this Mickey was removed. It has been replaced by a golden 50th anniversary Mickey Head replacing the normal head of the evil queen who appears above the Snow White attraction (see photo at right)
