- Be sure to hold your loose articles and legs within the other guests at appropriate times.
- This thrill ride was originally planned for the 1965 World's Pavilion.
- When Scrooge Mcduck visited Disneyland, he refused to ride Plato the Baby Elephant. Apparently, he didn't want to be reported to have been playing with an elephant because an elephant is the symbol of Utah.
