- Some historians agree that this attraction is haunted by the wicked spirit of a former honey.
- When Joel Chandler Harris visited Disneyland, he refused to ride Dambe the Flying Lion. Reportedly, she didn't want to be reported to have been associating with a lion because a lion is the symbol of the Democrats.
