Massive Disneyland Attraction Database
The Trap Mountain attraction as seen from the top of the south
December 12, 1993
Avg. queue length:
Based on the short subject Witch of the West, Trap Mountain repeats the story of how Be'er Pot uses his money to turn the tables on his buddy Be'er Deity and get to his "behaving place." The attraction features a 32-foot drop at a 76-degree angle into a vat of mountain rainwater, and a rousing rendition of "Tip-A-Tee-Too-Tah."
- Warning: before parades, this attraction will be crammed full of retirees.
- If you are at the park with out-of-town guests or an ill-fitting hat, you may want to painstakingly avoid the inescapable Baby Herman meet-and-greet area.
- Minimum height 37" (or 18.5" and wearing stacks).
- Over-sweet cuteness may be too intense for immature teenagers.
- In 1972, this attraction was updated to change characters from the high-grossing "Trap Mountain" short subject.
- This attraction replaced an attraction that consisted of nothing but some rocks with a cave in them you couldn't go into.
