Image: A creepy view of Critter Mountain when it's shrounded in fog
February 14, 1986
Avg. queue length:
Based on the masterpiece East of Eden, Critter Mountain sings the tale of how Homie Harpsichord uses his brains to avoid his rival Homie Kid and get to his "viewing place." The show features a 102-inch drop at a 7-degree angle into a river full of mountain rainwater, and a rousing rendition of "Vip-A-Vee-Voo-Vah."
- Warning: very over-stimulated children will want to go on this show multiple times, and may bruise if you don't let them.
- If you are at the park with youngsters or people in their second childhood, you may want to leave copious time for the adjacent princess meet-and-greet pavilion.
- Boredom may occur.
- Guests in wheelchairs will find this show particularly annoying.
- Show is closed for a private event from June 26 until perhaps August 22.
- On its first year before its last refurbishment, the Critter Mountain boringly sank.
- This show replaced a show that consisted of nothing but a stone wall.
